ISO 9001:2008 and OHSAS 18001:2007 Internal Audit Training Course
On 07 – 8 & 14 July 2012, PHG organized a training course on Internal Audit for ISO 9001:2008 and OHSAS 18001:2007 (Occupational Health & Safety Assessment Series 18001:2007) for Project managers, Site managers, heads of departments and some staff from other divisions. Presented and guided by Mr. Nguyen Minh Hien, consultant of Nguyen Phan Management Consultant Company and PHG ISO team.
Overview of Internal Audit Training course
PHG organized this training to help its employees understand the general requirements of ISO 9001:2008 and OHSAS 18001:2007. Through the course, the staff will be equipped knowledge and assessment skills for the Quality Management System and the Occupational Health & Safety Assessment Series System. Thereby, they will apply well the Internal Audit to determine the suitability and incompatibility between reality and processes, developed documents; determine the effectiveness and efficiency of quality systems in achieving objectives.
Via specific, concise presentation with vivid illustration of the lectures, case studies and team discussions to help all participants acquire well the processes, methods and steps of the internal audit process, implement evaluation, reporting and monitoring corrective actions after assessment...
Participants doing practical exercise
The course ended with an assessment practice on some current sites and a test to consolidate and systematize presented knowledge, at the same time to assess the participants’ well-informed about assessment principles and apply fluently assessment skills follow by process.
The three-day training course was successful. All staff understood the role, responsibilities and qualification requirements of the Internal Auditor. These key employees help the Quality Management System and the Occupational Health & Safety Assessment Series System of PHG not only to achieve well the ISO 9001:2008 and OHSAS 18001:2007 compliance, but also to assist the company’s management system in improving continuously, more efficient, better cost controlling, improving competitiveness ... to provide high quality services to meet the strict requirements of customers.
